Hey whats going on guys. On October 17th Southern Illinois University at Carbondale will be hosting a new car show entitled Autos 4 Alzheimers. All proceeds from the show will go towards the Ronald Reagan Alzheimers Foundation. There is a $10 entry fee for cars/trucks and a $5 fee for motorcycles. I know that for many, if not all, members it would be a very long drive, but as a group the cruise could be very nice and SIU is quite the place to party and have fun. There are plenty of local cheap hotels in Carbondale so also if you come as a group it would be very inexpensive. If anyone would be interested in attending please let me know through pm or the contact info on the flyer I will post below. BTW we are extending the entry date by over a week.

Other then that I look forward to meeting a lot of you guys after I graduate and move back up North.

This sounds like a good event, good cause. How long is the drive from Chicago?

It usually takes me about 5 to 5.5 hours, but as a group coming down and having some fun on the way it would probably take less time. It is roughly 360 miles I think, probably just a little less.

yah it is...but its for a good cause and if you come down friday night there will be plenty of fun activities going on

Hey guys Autos 4 Alzheimers is now only 4 days away and we're looking at a great turnout and a fun time! Who is planning on coming?

Most importantly would they remember that we were there? JK I work at a Retirement home and see this on a daily basis. It is a great cause.

I will be stuck at work.

Well the first Autos 4 Alzheimers show went decently well considering the weather and it has made us excited to have another this coming April when the weather is much better! Keep your weekends in April 2010 clear for the 2nd Autos 4 Alzheimers at SIUC, bigger and better!
