pretty simple question. is there a 35mm lense for d-slr's for canons? at a reasonable price.

lense?
which canon body? if it's an EF mount, EF mount lens will work.

i can't tell you which lens is more easier to work with.... EF lens will work on EF mount and EF-S mount. EF-S lens on the other hand, will work only on EF-S mount IIRC.

Are you asking if there are cheap 35mm primes for canon?

I think the 35 f/1.8 is like 300?

wait wait wait, are you looking for a 35mm focal length lens?

D'OH Sigma makes a 30mm f1.4.

yea, beefy round 300-350 is my range.

i should've thought this through lol. 3rd party lens is ok if the quality is ok. doesn't have to be a canon lense, as long as it works with my body.

for some reason i just want a prime right now.

Well since you mentioned the xti look for something with as side focal range as possible, ied spring for the 24 1.8 (I think canon has one for 300-350) because the 1.6x crop will give you ~35mm
