yep this happens alot in thailand they do 2j swaps into everything now.... we nicknamed the 2jz the small block of japan.

My friend had a 2JZ in his Volvo in HS... also in Thailand.

my friend is part thai and he has a bmw and went there and almost every car he saw there had a 2jz in it even the bmw's...

I just thought it was random that you brought that up.

The car scene in Bangkok is pretty crazy.
