There is a big open parking lot they let you practice in. Once you're comfortable enough, you move to the intermediate course, and then advanced.

This track is great for people of any skill level.

they set up a skid pad/figure 8's, intermediate course, and advance course. You move up when you master each. Advanced course is the one with all the elevation changes.

just fyi, SOMETIMES they run a different layout, but there is always a beginner figure 8, an intermediate course, and an advanced course.

I definitely recommend anyone to come out to drive or watch. You get a good amount of track time here compared to other venues and instructors are on hand if you need or want.

just type in "USAIR drift" on youtube and you can get an idea of how it is.

You can volunteer to help run the event, get to know the other staff and people running it, and see drifting from up close. You can also go for occasional ride alongs. The other staff that have been doing it for a while can teach you lots of stuff. If your car can't make it, you should 100% staff.

good idea man, yeah i know i was going to stick around and help clean up for a little cause that would be bogus for me to just go and make a mess then go home. i shall contact club fr and be staff :D

So many people volunteer that its hard to get a chance to staff. If u do get in tho I do think thats pretty cool.
